Rydal Water is a shallow, quiet lake, best admired from the elevated terrace path. Walkers pause here to take in a perfectly composed view: bare oak and birch framing the water from the left, while the fell drops abruptly to the far shore and steep crags rise behind.

This design reimagines the landscape through a Cubist lens, fracturing the scene into faceted planes seen from multiple angles at once. From across a room, the eye registers interlocking triangles of moss green, slate grey, and earth tones. Stark, angular lines form the foreground wall and winter trees, grounding the bold geometry.

Striking on a study wall or in a hallway, this piece brings architectural structure to a room. It arrives framed and ready to hang. A Black frame sharply defines the complex shapes, while Natural wood subtly echoes the earthy palette. As part of a wider series, it looks brilliant alone or curated as a set.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

The fells and their reflection fractured into overlapping planes, seen from several angles at once. Ochre, umber, slate and chalk — the landscape analysed rather than described.
