The terrace path above this shallow lake offers one of the best-loved vantage points in the region. Walkers pause where bare oak and birch frame the view, looking across the water to Loughrigg Fell on the far shore, while Nab Scar rises steep above.

The design reimagines the valley through a Cubist lens, fracturing the fells into faceted planes seen from several angles at once. Earthy ochres, rich browns, and slate greys reduce the landscape to bold, geometric shapes. From across a room, it reads as a striking puzzle of interlocking colour, grounded by classic mid-century typography.

Perfect for a study or a light hallway, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. It looks particularly sharp in a natural wood frame, which draws out the warm autumnal tones of the oak leaves. Part of a wider collection of Lakeland prints, it can stand alone or build a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
