Rydal Water is a shallow lake best viewed from the terrace path above. Here, bare oak and birch frame the view from the left, while the crags of Nab Scar drop to the water, looking across to Loughrigg Fell on the far shore.

This design reimagines the landscape through intricate ink hatching and impossible geometry. From across a room, it reads as a striking monochrome engraving. Stepped rock faces lead to the water, where a surreal tessellation takes hold: fish swimming below the surface transform seamlessly into a flock of birds taking flight.

A compelling focal point for a study or stairwell, it rewards close inspection. The print arrives framed and ready to hang, sitting perfectly within a black frame that echoes the heavy ink lines of the design. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
