Rydal Water is an intimate, shallow lake best viewed from the terrace path above. Walkers pause here as bare oak and birch frame the water to the left. Across the surface, Loughrigg Fell drops steeply to the far shore, held beneath the imposing rise of Nab Scar.

This design captures the landscape through the strict discipline of continuous line art. A single, unbroken black ink line traces the tangled branches, the curving shoreline, and the overlapping fells. Behind the intricate trees, an organic, moss-green block of colour anchors the composition. From across a room, the fluid line and bold typography command attention.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this minimalist print brings modern Lakeland character to a study or bright stairwell. A black wooden frame is highly recommended, as it sharply echoes the continuous linework of the design. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
