A test of nerve for any walker, Striding Edge is a narrow rocky arête that demands respect. The path picks its way along the jagged crest, dipping then rising to a sharp summit, with the dark water of a mountain tarn lying deep in the bowl below and layered fells receding beyond.

This mid-century Swiss Modernist design reduces the iconic crossing to bold, interlocking geometry. A jagged black silhouette of the ridge cuts across the pale grey curves of the tarn, while a single shock of red caps the summit. From across a room, it reads instantly as a striking piece of graphic reduction.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this strong geometric print commands attention in a study or stairwell. A black frame perfectly weights the dark ridge, beautifully grounding the minimalist shapes. Designed as part of a wider collection, it looks brilliant hung alongside other places in the series.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
