Tarn Hows is a much-loved, island-studded tarn ringed by dark conifers and larch. Walkers trace the broad, curving path along its shoreline to look across the water toward the great fells rising blue beyond.

This design reimagines the landscape through the fractured, faceted planes of Cubism. The towering fells, reflected islands, and shoreline pines are broken down into sharp, interlocking geometric shapes. From across a room, the rich palette of deep greens, earthy ochres, and slate blues resolves into a bold, dynamic scene grounded by crisp, vintage-style typography.

Arriving fully framed and ready to hang, this striking piece commands attention in a stairwell or above a study desk. A black frame sharply defines the poster's geometric lines, while natural wood echoes the earthy woodland tones. It forms part of a wider Lake District series, designed to be hung individually or collected as a perfectly matched set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
