Looking down upon Ullswater is a classic reward for walkers scaling the surrounding slopes. From a rocky crag in the foreground, the water forms a dramatic dogleg, snaking between steep, overlapping fells. A wooded promontory reaches into the lake, drawing the eye towards the distant mountain skyline.

This design reimagines the valley in the bright, optimistic style of vintage railway advertising. The terrain is reduced to striking, saturated shapes: brilliant blue skies, bold clouds, and vibrant fellsides in sharp greens and burnt oranges. It is a high-contrast piece built of flat, clean colours, designed to read perfectly from across a room.

Ideal for brightening a hallway or stairwell, this print arrives fully framed and ready to hang. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
