From the rocky crags above Ullswater, walkers pause to take in the famous dogleg of the water. The sweeping view captures overlapping fells folding down to the lake's edge, anchored by a wooded promontory reaching out from the right bank.

This Winter Railway treatment strips the landscape back to bold shapes and deep frost. Rendered in slate and ice blue, the jagged foreground contrasts with the smooth ribbon of the lake. A band of cold pink cuts through the freezing palette, creating a striking graphic that reads instantly from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it commands attention above a sitting room fireplace or on a stairwell. A black frame sharpens the dark slate tones, while white enhances the crisp snow. As part of a series, it pairs perfectly with other Lakeland designs to build a striking collection.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
