Wastwater at Wasdale Head commands a view known by heart to walkers and climbers. From a rocky shoreline, the eye is drawn to a dramatic ring of fells: the pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left, Great Gable centred at the valley head, and the Scafells to the right.

This design reimagines the valley in a playful mid-century style. The mountains become bold, flat triangles in teal, grey, and ochre, perfectly mirrored in the still lake. Oversized stylised pebbles and tiny repeated texture marks echo vintage illustration, creating a striking graphic that reads instantly from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings bold character to a hallway or study. A natural wood frame suits the earthy palette, while black sharply defines the geometric lines. Part of a wider series, it is ideal for building a curated collection of Lakeland favourites.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
