Windermere is the great curving spine of the southern landscape, a broad lake stretching between steep wooded shores. It is the classic Lakeland view, where passenger launches cross deep water between small, scattered islands, drawing the eye toward the serrated fells on the far horizon.

This design reimagines the famous water through the strict lens of Bauhaus geometry. From across a room, the complex landscape resolves into a rigid structural grid and bold primary colours. The lake, the launch, and the steep shores are reduced to pure circles, sharp triangles, and heavy architectural blocks, all anchored by clean, modernist typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this striking piece commands attention at the end of a hallway or climbing a stairwell. A black frame perfectly accents the strong geometric structure and dark typographic elements of the print. It belongs to a wider modernist series, perfect for collecting and hanging as a bold, matching set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
