The edge of Buttermere is a defining Lakeland view. Tall Scots pines on the near shore stand mirrored in still water, backed by the steep, craggy ridge of Haystacks and a bare fellside sweeping sharply down to the right.

This design reimagines the landscape through the strict geometry of the Bauhaus movement. Set against a visible grid, the fells read from across the room as striking blue and yellow triangles intersecting under a perfect red sun. The pines are reduced to repeating graphic blocks, their dark reflection turning the valley's topography into a crisp, modernist statement of primary colour.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, this vibrant print brings sharp, architectural focus to a modern hallway or stairwell. A black frame perfectly defines the strict grid and dark tree silhouettes, anchoring the bright primary palette. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
