The view across Buttermere is a defining Lakeland image. Tall Scots pines stand on the near shore, perfectly mirrored in the still water. Behind them, a craggy ridge rises steeply to dominate the skyline, while a bare fellside falls sharply to the water's edge on the right.

This design reimagines the landscape through a radical Constructivist lens, reducing the familiar fell to hard, driving diagonals of deep red, jet black and stark cream. Echoing the flat ink blocks of early screen printing, it delivers visual agitation through bold geometric shapes that demand attention from across a room.

Striking on a stairwell or study wall, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame brilliantly contains the sheer graphic force of the image, anchoring the dark pines. Part of a wider regional series, it works perfectly alone or grouped as a bold set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
