At Buttermere, a row of tall Scots pines on the near shore stands mirrored in still water. Behind them, a craggy ridge rises steeply, while a bare fellside falls sharply to the water's edge on the right. It is a dramatic, unyielding landscape that walkers know by heart.

This travel poster reimagines the view through a radical Constructivist lens. The valley is reduced to hard diagonals and aggressive geometric blocks in a striking palette of red, black, and stark cream. From across a room, it reads as pure agitation—vertical pines intersecting sharply with severe fellside angles above bold typography.

A commanding presence for a study or stairwell, the design arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame is highly recommended to reinforce the heavy, dark lines of the artwork. Belonging to a wider series, it serves as a powerful single statement or pairs seamlessly with other geometric Lakeland prints.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
