Derwentwater is a wide, calm lake punctuated by small wooded islands. Walkers stand on its shores to look out across the water towards the steep western fells, with the jaws of the deep valley closing in the distance.

This cubist interpretation fractures the landscape into faceted planes of earthy ochre, slate grey, and muted green. Drawing on the geometry of mid-century railway artwork, the design views the water and fells from several angles at once. From across a room, it resolves into a striking pattern of intersecting light and shadow.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this bold piece commands attention above a sitting room fireplace or anchors a hallway. A black frame provides a sharp border that locks the geometric shapes together, while a natural wood finish complements the earthy palette. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
