Derwentwater is a wide, calm expanse of water scattered with small, wooded islands. Walkers gather on these shores to look across the lake towards the western fells, drawn to the distant, closing jaws of the deep valley beyond.

This poster reduces the familiar view to bold, minimalist shapes. Rendered in a chalky palette of sand, oat, and sage, the landscape is distilled into sweeping blocks of colour. From across a room, the eye instantly reads the gentle island reflections and sweeping mountain silhouettes, echoing classic railway prints in a quiet, modern register.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
