Grasmere is a small, perfectly round lake famous for the single wooded island anchored at its centre. Walkers trace the shoreline past rustling reed beds, looking across the water to where the steep shoulders of Helm Crag and Silver How enclose the valley.

The design treats this sheltered landscape in a Japanese woodblock style. The water and fells become layered planes of slate blue, soft heather, and forest green, bound by a quiet key line. Above, a soft gradient sky shifts gently into pink, bringing a calm, block-printed depth that reads brilliantly from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings lasting colour to a stairwell or study. A black frame sharply defines the dark linework, while natural wood complements the earthy palette. As part of our travel poster series, it looks striking alone or gathered with others to form a gallery wall.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
