Great Gable is a massive pyramid peak of grey crags. Walkers navigate the wide fans of scree that cascade down steep slopes to the valley floor, aiming for the summit. From below, thin winding paths meet at the valley head, marking the long-established routes of fell-baggers drawn to this iconic Lakeland challenge.

This Japanese woodblock treatment reimagines the mountain through layered colour and a quiet key line. Soft gradient skies contrast with the bold reduction of the rocky fellside. From across a room, the poster reads as a striking balance of natural mass and precise linework, anchored cleanly by large vintage typography.

A commanding focal point for a hallway or study, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply picks out the dark linework of the illustration, while natural wood echoes the earthy valley tones. Belonging to a wider series of travel posters, it looks brilliant hung alone to mark a favourite ascent or grouped as a set of three.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
