Wastwater at Wasdale Head offers a definitive Lake District view. From the rocky shoreline, the eye is drawn across still water to a ring of formidable fells: the pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left, Great Gable commanding the valley head, and the rugged Scafells rising to the right.

This design translates that famous panorama into the bold language of a 1930s railway poster. The mountains are reduced to striking geometric planes of deep slate blue, muted purple, and warm ochre. The fells are perfectly mirrored in the lake through flat, layered shapes of ink that read instantly from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it makes a commanding focal point for a hallway or study. A natural wood frame warms the shoreline's earthy tones, while black sharply defines the deep graphic blues. Belonging to a wider series, it is perfect for grouping alongside your favourite destinations.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
