Wastwater offers one of the most dramatic views in the Lake District. From the rocky shoreline, the eye is drawn across the still lake to a monumental horseshoe of fells. A pyramid peak rises left, framing the central summit at the valley head, beautifully mirrored in the water. It is a vista walkers know by heart.

The design captures this scene in the optimistic tradition of classic railway posters. From across a room, the landscape reduces to bold elements: perfect symmetry, sharp geometry, and striking contrasts between saturated autumn fellsides and brilliant blue skies. Flat colour creates an instant statement piece.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this vivid print anchors a hallway or stairwell. A white frame beautifully enhances the bright clouds, while natural wood echoes the warm slopes. Part of a wider series, it looks magnificent alone or collected as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
