Looking up Wastwater to Wasdale Head offers a defining Lakeland view. From a rocky shoreline, the eye is drawn across mirrored water to a formidable mountain horseshoe. The steep pyramid of Yewbarrow stands left, Great Gable commands the valley head, and the Scafells rise abruptly to the right.

This vivid travel poster reduces the panorama to bold shapes and bright, flat colour. In the tradition of classic railway art, the fellsides feature saturated russets, ochres, and deep blues. A perfect reflection, brilliant sky, and graphic white clouds ensure this sheer mountain geometry commands attention from across a room.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
