Windermere is a broad lake curving away between heavily wooded shores. Small islands break the mid-water, while a traditional launch crosses the distance toward serrated peaks on the far horizon. It is a classic view known by heart to generations of Lakeland walkers.

This striking design reimagines the famous water through meticulous ink hatching and impossible geometry. From across a room, the sharp monochrome contrast reveals a surreal tessellation where ripples transform into birds rising from the lake. It is a bold, graphic tribute to traditional woodcuts, built on structured shadows and sharp lines.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
