Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone packhorse bridge spanning a rocky beck. From this elevated spot, the green fellside drops away to reveal an expansive lake far below, framed by a rising mountain massif. It is a classic viewpoint walkers return to again and again.

Captured in the optimistic style of mid-century railway artwork, the landscape is distilled into striking flat shapes. Saturated fellsides contrast with the warm, sunlit stones of the bridge in the foreground. Above, bold white clouds drift across a bright blue sky, creating a vivid image that reads beautifully from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this colourful print easily anchors a bright hallway or sitting room wall. The vivid blues look particularly sharp in a white wood frame, while a natural finish complements the rustic bridge stones. Part of a wider Lake District collection, it works brilliantly alone or grouped.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
