Looking down the long, straight stretch of Coniston Water from a wooded eastern shore, the eye is drawn across the lake to the whaleback ridge of the Old Man of Coniston. This perspective captures the scale of the valley, anchored in the foreground by a wooden jetty and a single moored boat.

Reimagined in the Japanese woodblock tradition, the landscape is built from delicate layers of colour defined by a quiet key line. From across a room, the soft gradient of the sky contrasts with the textured shoreline pines and the rich, rippled blues of the water, reducing the complex fellside into bold, elegant shapes.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings immediate character to a stairwell or study. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the organic greens and soft pinks of the design. Part of a wider Lake District series, it looks striking alone or gathered as a matching set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
