Great Gable stands as a massive pyramid peak of grey crags. Walkers are drawn to its steep slopes, navigating wide fans of scree that cascade down to the valley floor. At the valley head below, thin winding paths meet, marking the start of a legendary ascent for dedicated fell-baggers.

The poster captures the fell in an Impressionist style, built entirely from broken colour and dissolving light without a single outline. From across a room, hazy purples, warm golds, and shadowed greys resolve into the craggy peak, echoing a plein-air oil painting above classic travel-poster typography.

Brilliant for a hallway or study, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A Natural wood frame beautifully highlights the earthy mountain tones, while a White frame enhances the atmospheric sky. Belonging to a wider Impressionist series, it looks striking alone or collected as a set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
