Honister Pass offers one of the most dramatic ascents in the Lake District. A narrow road climbs steeply through a rocky defile between towering crags, where slate spoil and old quarry workings scar the steep fellside, leaving the valley falling away far behind.

The design treats this industrial mountain landscape with stark mid-century Swiss reduction. The terrain is distilled into sharp, bold shapes in contrasting charcoal, pale grey, and off-white. Against this monochrome backdrop, the quarry structure is picked out in a single block of vivid red. From across a room, the heavy black crags create an immediate, powerful graphic impact above the clean typography.

A commanding presence for a modern hallway, sharp stairwell, or minimalist study. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
