Rydal Water is a shallow lake best admired from the terrace path above. From this vantage point, bare oak and birch frame the view from the left. Across the calm water, Loughrigg Fell drops to the far shore, while Nab Scar rises steeply overhead.

This design captures the view using the Japanese woodblock tradition. Soft gradients of pale pink and blue form the sky, reflecting in the water below. The fells are reduced to planes of muted green and purple, defined by a quiet key line. From across a room, the foreground trees create a striking graphic silhouette.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.
