Seen from the terrace path above, Rydal Water is a shallow, tranquil reward for walkers. Bare oak and birch frame the view from the left bank, looking out across the flat water to the steep fell dropping down to the far shore.

This mid-century Swiss reduction strips the landscape back to bare geometry. The fell is rendered in just five flat shapes of cool grey, contrasted by stark black winter tree silhouettes. A bold strike of red draws the eye from across a room, anchoring the clean, minimalist typography below.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this graphic design suits a modern stairwell or a sharp home study. A black frame perfectly matches the heavy foreground shadows, making the image pop. It belongs to a wider modernist series, allowing you to collect and curate your favourite Lakeland routes.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
