Rydal Water is a shallow lake best admired from the elevated terrace path above. Twisting, bare branches of oak and birch frame the walker's view from the left. Across the water, Loughrigg Fell drops sharply to the far shore, sitting beneath the steep incline of Nab Scar.

Rendered in the bold tradition of classic railway artwork, the landscape is distilled into striking, saturated shapes. Vivid bands of autumn gold, rich green and burnt orange sweep across the fellsides, contrasting brilliantly with the deep azure lake. Great, sculpted white clouds drift across a bright blue sky, creating a highly graphic print that reads perfectly from across a large room.

A strong piece for a bright stairwell or a welcoming sitting room, this poster arrives framed and ready to hang. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the bare foreground trees, while a crisp black frame anchors the deep typography. Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
