A curving path traces the shore of Tarn Hows, guiding walkers around this famous, island-studded water. Ringed by dark conifers and larch, the tarn perfectly reflects the dramatic, blue fells rising beyond.

The design captures the landscape in a hard frost, echoing the bold heritage of classic railway posters. The tarn is reduced to sweeping shapes and a crisp palette of slate, snow and ice blue, warmed only by a cold pink sun. From across a room, the striking silhouettes of the pines and their mirror-like reflections offer instant graphic impact.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
