Windermere is the great broad lake curving away between wooded shores, drawing visitors out to the small islands mid-water. To look up its length is to watch a familiar launch crossing the surface, while beautifully serrated peaks hold the distant horizon.

This design reimagines the view as a vintage railway poster caught in hard frost. The landscape is reduced to striking flat shapes, mapping the water and fells in sharp slate greys and ice blues. Backed by a single band of cold pink, it creates a bold graphic statement that commands attention from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it forms a handsome focal point for a hallway or stairwell. A crisp white frame perfectly highlights the pale winter sky, while a black moulding grounds the dark shores. Part of a wider collection, it looks brilliant hung alone or grouped as a matching set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
