Walkers follow the shoreline path of Buttermere just to stand before this definitive view. From the near shore, a row of tall Scots pines stands mirrored in the still water, set against the craggy ridge of Haystacks rising steeply behind, while a bare fellside falls to the shore on the right.

This design reimagines the valley through the playful stylisation of mid-century illustration. The landscape is reduced to flat, interlocking shapes of earthy ochre and teal, detailed with tiny repeated marks like dashes and cross-hatching. From across a room, the sharp geometry and mirror reflection create a bold graphic statement.

Perfect for a hallway or study wall, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply defines the dark silhouette of the pines, while natural wood highlights the retro palette. As part of a wider series, it is easily collected and hung alongside other Lakeland favourites.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
