A distinctive row of tall Scots pines stands on the near shore of Buttermere, mirrored perfectly in the still water. Behind them, a steep, craggy ridge rises sharply, while a broad, bare fellside sweeps down to the water's edge on the right.

The landscape is distilled into the bold shapes of the vintage railway poster tradition. Rendered in a hard-frost winter palette, it relies on the sharp contrast of slate grey and crisp ice blue, warmed only by a sweep of cold pink across the fell. From across a room, the dark silhouettes of the pines command attention.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a crisp feel to a stairwell or hallway. A black wooden frame grounds the dark slate of the trees, while a white frame highlights the pale snow. Part of a wider series, it looks striking alone or collected as a set of three.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
