Tarn Hows is a small, island-studded tarn famously ringed by dark conifers and bright larch. A well-trodden path curves along its shore, leading walkers past tree-topped islands toward the soaring fells rising blue in the distance.

This design treats the landscape to the optimistic style of vintage railway advertising. The view is reduced to bold, flat areas of saturated colour, contrasting deep shoreline greens with vivid blue water. Brilliant white clouds dominate the sky, ensuring the poster reads as a striking graphical statement from across the room, anchored by crisp typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this vibrant piece brings outdoor colour to a bright hallway or stairwell. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
