Windermere stretches as a broad, curving ribbon of water between wooded shores. It is a place of enduring scale, where a launch crosses the open water, navigating between small islands towards the serrated peaks on the far horizon.

The 1930s railway poster tradition reduces this vast expanse to bold, flat shapes. Deep blues and soft purples define the curving water and distant fells, cut through by the sharp wake of the boat. From across a room, the shadowed shoreline and bright islands create a strong graphic pull, anchored by clean, vintage typography.

Ready to hang in a hallway or above a desk, this framed print brings a sweep of Lakeland scale indoors. A natural wood frame warms the shoreline's golden tones, while white sharpens the deep blue water. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
