Windermere is a broad lake curving away between deeply wooded shores. It is a view known to generations who have crossed the water by launch, looking past small mid-water islands toward the serrated profile of the fells on the far horizon.

This design reimagines the lake through the Japanese woodblock tradition. From across a room, the scene resolves into bands of layered colour, framing the water against a soft gradient sky of pale peach. A quiet key line defines the foreground pines and the sharp ridges of the fells, anchoring the landscape.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings a calm, structured presence to a hallway or sitting room. A black wood frame perfectly highlights the dark key lines of the design's foreground. As part of a wider collection of Lakeland scenes, it works beautifully alone or grouped as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
