Windermere is a broad ribbon of water curving away between wooded shores. To look out across the lake or cross by launch is to see a classic view unfold, taking in small islands mid-water and a serrated profile of high pikes on the far horizon.

This Swiss Modernist design distils the geography to its essentials. Stark black forms a jagged mountain skyline, balancing a sweeping shape of grey that defines the water. A single red mark acts as the launch crossing the lake. Read from across a hallway, this mid-century reduction relies entirely on bold geometry and a minimal palette.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this graphic print suits a stairwell or modern study. A black wood frame sharply highlights the dramatic horizon, adding clean definition to the artwork. Part of a wider collection of travel posters, it works beautifully alone or hung as a set of three.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
