To stand at Buttermere is to find the landscape perfectly mirrored. A distinctive row of tall Scots pines lines the near shore, casting precise reflections into the still water. Behind them, the craggy ridge of Haystacks rises steeply, while a bare fellside sweeps down to the right.

Drawn in the tradition of a Japanese woodblock print, the view relies on quiet key lines and layered colour. A soft gradient sky of pale pink and blue frames the textured greys of the central crag. From across a room, the eye immediately catches the bold vertical rhythm of the pines and the striking typography below.

Arriving framed and ready to hang without a mount, it creates a confident focal point in a hallway or study. A Natural wood frame perfectly suits the earthy fellside, while Black echoes the dark trees. It belongs to a wider series, ideal for collecting as a coordinated set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
