Buttermere is a classic viewpoint where tall Scots pines on the near shore are mirrored in still water. Behind them, a steep, craggy ridge rises sharply, while a bare fellside falls to the shore on the right. It is a valley floor pause that walkers know by heart.

This mid-century Swiss Modernist design reduces the landscape to bold, geometric shapes. The jagged black mass of the fell dominates, but the waterline commands attention from across a room: a striking block of red replacing a natural reflection, anchored by the flat grey silhouettes of the trees.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this graphic print sharpens a hallway or study. A black wood frame perfectly echoes the heavy summit silhouette, while a white frame highlights the clean background. Designed within a wider series, it sits beautifully alone or grouped as a set of collected Lakeland destinations.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
