Walkers pause on the shoreline at Buttermere to take in this definitive Lakeland view. A row of tall Scots pines stands mirrored in the still water. Behind them, the craggy ridge of Haystacks rises steeply, flanked by a bare fellside falling to the water's edge on the right.

Drawing on vintage railway advertising, the landscape is distilled into striking shapes and saturated, flat colour. Dark pines contrast against a bright blue sky and bold clouds, while the fells glow in warm, sunlit ochre. From across a room, sharp water reflections anchor the bold design above one perfect line of crisp typography.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
